The proposals for Parkhead Holdings were carefully developed to meet the needs of a growing family while respecting the character and setting of the original stone cottage.

The design balances continuity with contemporary living, using a series of carefully scaled additions that preserve the prominence of the existing building while strengthening its relationship with the surrounding landscape. A restrained palette of natural stone and zinc creates continuity between old and new, allowing the extensions to feel like a natural evolution of the home rather than competing additions.
